Description
The INVISIRUNG™
system is a new design, which
had initially been developed
for the telecommunication industry
but has also generated an immense
amount of interest from other
market sectors.
INVISIRUNG™
has been developed so that the
visual slimline appearance of
a telecommunication pole stays
intact whilst at the same time
provides riggers with a means
of safe permanent access to
antennae etc.
Once the user is connected to
the system via the retaining
carriage, they then place their
hand behind the rung, depress
the locking mechanism and simply
pull it down into a horizontal
position.
This process is repeated for
every rung as you climb the
system then as you descend the
rungs are simply folded away
back to the vertical storage
position. Rungs are locked in
both open and closed positions
The INVISIRUNG™
system also has a newly designed
slim-line anti climb cover,
this shields the rungs and prevents
the system from being accessed
by unauthorised persons.
The cover simply hooks onto
the INVISIRUNG™
systems mounting brackets and
is then held in position with
a dowel pin and can then be
made secure by the addition
of a padlock (not supplied).
Safety Ladder Type as
to EN 353 Part 1
Material
The folded rungs are
manufactured using Stainless
Steel type 1.4571 and are usually
fitted to Galvanised Rail. Alternatively
the rungs can be fitted to Stainless
Steel rail - contact our sales
office for details.
INVISIRUNG™
Treads
The rung has a 20mm step with
an anti-slip surface and lock
mechanism to keep the rungs
in the open or closed position.
Safety RailsThe safety rail
profile is 3mm thick. The square
holes with notches are punched
every 40mm within the profile.
The notches are for arresting
the retaining carriage and the
square holes are for connecting
purposes.
The rail profile must be supported
every 1280mm maximum. Due to
the position of the rungs when
not in use fixings are limited
to a pitch of 320mm. Each system
must have a minimum of 4 supports.
Configuring
Systems
When specifying a system please
note that the following conditions
must be considered:-
Ladder
with 1 ladder section
We recommend the use of our
universal ladder length or the
top ladder lengths.
Ladders with 2 ladder sections
We recommend the use of either,
the universal profile with either
a top or bottom ladder length
or a top and bottom ladder length
Ladders with 3 or more ladder
sections
When this applies it is necessary
to utilise universal ladder
lengths sandwiched between top
and bottom rungs. This is to
ensure correct alignment of
rungs and rail connectors.
