Introduction |
MET-TRACK track systems can be used in many other applications, in addition to the main applications shown in our cranes pages.
Typical applications for MET-TRACK track systems are illustrated in this section. Specific literature is available for some of the more popular uses, such as Horizonal Fall Arrest and Sliding Door Gear.
The high strength/low weight factor of the tracks reduces the need for expensive support structures, in turn this offer advantages for customer who have headroom restrictions.
The profile design, which incorporates a self cleaning feature, offers wheel protection and accurate alignment with minimum friction.

Customer: Royal College of Surgeons Brief: To design a quad bridge gantry system suspending 8 mobile service boxes allowing the College maximum flexibility of room layout. This gantry system facilitates all types of training whether it be individual, working in pairs or small groups. Each service box houses multiple feed plugins which included audio visual RCD inputs, network connections, 240v power points, compressed air, water, and suction. One of the main stipulations for this project was aesthetics, it was essential for the system to look state of the art with an emphasis to hide all the power, air, water, suction and AV feeds.

Playground |
MET-TRACK track systems can be adapted and installed on to childrens playground equipment. The MET-TRACK provides an exciting commando style slide feature, which can be installed as a stand alone piece of equipment or combined as one part of a larger piece of playground equipment.

Impaired Mobility |
MET-TRACK track system can be utilised for the suspension of medical hoisting equipment offering those with severe difficulties, to cope on their own, thus providing independance and privacy.

Welding Curtains |
MET-TRACK track systems are well suited for industrial welding curtains, due to our MET-TRACK being able to easily support the weight of the heavy duty curtains whilst offering users the maximum amount of resistant free movement when entering and exiting the welding area(s).

Work Stations |
MET-TRACK can be adapted to create mobile service points/workstations. Below shows an installation coveying pneumatic services with a combined mobile tool tray, installed at a car maintenance plant allowing complete flexibility of work area as the track system spans the complete workshop.
