Wall-Mounted Jib Cranes
Ideal for compact areas with restricted access, wall-mounted jib cranes offer space-saving qualities. A wall-mounted jib can be installed onto the structure of your building or high-traffic areas of your facility and designed to integrate seamlessly into your existing layout. The cantilever design uses a partial and full boom, ensuring they are a great option for maximum clearance in factories, with multiple overhead obstructions.
Floor-Mounted
Also referred to as free-standing jib cranes, these jib cranes are installed directly into the ground and can feature over or under-braced. Depending on the model, a floor-mounted jib crane is suitable for indoor and outdoor use. Compatible with numerous options, wall-mounted jib cranes can be configured with diverse bracing types to meet different environmental conditions and company requirements.

Jib Crane FAQs
What is a jib crane and how do they work?
A jib crane (or jib) is a specialist crane designed to lift and carry loads over a specified distance. They’re usually equipped with a horizontal arm that hoists, allowing materials to be moved within its reach. This can be for heavy or awkward loads that a person isn’t able to carry on their own. The arm of the jib is attached to a single point and which allows it to swivel to easy movement within factories, warehouses and many other settings.
What are the mounting options?
We offer a number of two main mounting options: either pillar/floor-standing or wall-mounted. Both have their merits, but floor-standing jib cranes tend to be the more popular choice. This is because they offer more flexibility and variety. A floor-standing jib allows for 360-degree movement around its pillar, meaning you have access to more space for your materials.
Is a jib crane better than a workstation crane?
This really depends on your use case and application. For example, if you have a small area in which you need lifting capabilities, a wall-mounted jib crane is ideal. However, if you have a large factory floor or warehouse, a wokstation crane might be a better option.
